2.6. Determination of oxidative and immune stress effects
The protein content was determined according to the manufacturer's instructions using a protein assay kit (Solarbio; China). The reaction between Coomassie brilliant blue and protein was monitored at 595 nm, and the protein content was determined based on the change in absorbance. The ·OH? content, SOD activity, CAT activity, and MDA content were measured using an ELISA kit (Shanghai Hengyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd.; China). The contents or activities were determined according to the changes in the absorbance induced by the color reaction.
